I'm Back!

Hi Everyone! I know it has been a while since my last post, but since then, I had a lot of exciting things happen. I became a certified feng shui consultant, and also moved from beautiful, sunny San Diego, back home to Maui. Although I miss my friends in San Diego, and the beauty of the city, I am so happy to be home with my family in this beautiful place I can call home again! Since moving home, we have been painting, re-flooring, and fixing up the cottage we are living in. It has been a lot of work, and we couldn't have done it without the help of my family, and of course, my dad, the handyman. He can fix or make anything!

I have been compiling ideas as we have been fixing up our place. Here are just a few photos I'm using as inspiration for our decor. As you can tell, I want our house to have a light, bright and airy feel to it. I'm hoping I don't go overboard on the bright colors, but I think I can do it right! I will, of course, be incorporating what I learned in feng shui both inside and outside our home.

Stay tuned for before and after pictures, DIY projects, my gardening adventures, and everything else I've been working on while I was gone!

I also want to send a special shout out to my dear friend, Faith, who has inspired and motivated me throughout this entire process. She is a killer business consultant (check our her website here), and also owns her own sunglasses company for kids (click here). If you need suggestions, advice, or motivation on starting your own business, or even an awesome pair of sunglasses for your child, you should definitely contact her!

  2. Thank you for the twitter follow, so nice to meet ya! I've also returned home to Maui after living in Honolulu. Happy to be back but there was some adjustment for sure. Love the pic of the bedroom above with the all white and beech colored flooring.

Btw, we have a Maui blogger group on Facebook, your blog does have to be up 90 days first though. If you've met that and want to be added, just let me know (can contact me on my blog or friend me on FB, Tania Ginoza). It's a closed group as it's more for support purposes.
